Our team is charged with maintaining and improving the software at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) that supports the Hospital Quality Reporting program. Thousands of hospitals across the country depend on these systems to submit quality measure data that reflects the care beneficiaries receive in their facility.  Our teams will continuously strive to modernize these systems, while improving them in ways that reduce provider burden and minimize costs to CMS.  We do this through HCD and Service design practices, product thinking, and skilled engineering.  At Bellese, we’re relentlessly focused on enabling and empowering providers to focus on improving the quality and safety of patient care.

Test Automation and QA execution

As a Data Integration Engineer II, you will help build, validate, and maintain the data pipelines that power our educational products. You will work with district-provided data from student information systems, assessment platforms, and other K–12 data sources to ensure that student, staff, schedule, enrollment, grade, and assessment data is accurately transformed, loaded, and maintained in our platform.

This role requires strong technical problem-solving, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical partners. As a Software Automation Engineer you’ll be responsible to collaborate with Software Engineers, Software Quality Engineers, and Business System Analysts (BSA) in devising appropriate code-based testing approaches and test settings for assuring the utmost quality of our systems from a coding standpoint. As a Data Integration Engineer II, you will help build, validate, and maintain the data pipelines that power our educational products. You will work with district-provided data from student information systems, assessment platforms, and other K–12 data sources to ensure that student, staff, schedule, enrollment, grade, and assessment data is accurately transformed, loaded, and maintained in our platform.

This role requires strong technical problem-solving, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical partners. You will use tools such as Python, SQL, version control, and secure file transfer workflows to troubleshoot data issues, automate repeatable processes, and maintain a high level of data fidelity for our partners.

What You Will Own

Innovation Engineering & Product Development

• Design, prototype, and deliver new features across backend (PHP) and frontend (JavaScript) that extend Matomo’s capabilities

Requirments

• 3-5 years experience with backend development in PHP or Python, databases, and frontend development in JavaScript

As a Data Integration Engineer II, you will help build, validate, and maintain the data pipelines that power our educational products. You will work with district-provided data from student information systems, assessment platforms, and other K–12 data sources to ensure that student, staff, schedule, enrollment, grade, and assessment data is accurately transformed, loaded, and maintained in our platform.

This role requires strong technical problem-solving, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical partners. You will use tools such as Python, SQL, version control, and secure file transfer workflows to troubleshoot data issues, automate repeatable processes, and maintain a high level of data fidelity for our partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot data integration pipelines and workflows that support organizational data needs and align with broader company goals

• Investigate and resolve complex data issues by using SQL and internal tools to validate imports, analyze transformation logic, and ensure data fidelity within Ellevation’s platform
